Creativity. Perspective. Expression.

My story

My journey in graphic design began at a time when digital technology was still in its infancy. Print was the dominant medium, and the internet was just emerging as I navigated through college. Programs like PageMill and PageMaker opened up a world of possibilities, allowing a young student like myself to explore and nurture my creativity. What started as an interest quickly became a passion—and ultimately, a career built around the belief that great design has the power to communicate, connect, and inspire.

Fast forward over 20 years, and it's surreal to reflect on how far I've come since those early days. Technology has transformed nearly every aspect of the design process, from how ideas are developed to how audiences experience them. Yet, despite the dramatic shifts in technology, platforms, and design trends, my passion for what I do has never wavered. If anything, the constant evolution of the industry is what continues to drive me. I thrive on learning, adapting, and finding new ways to turn ideas into meaningful visual experiences.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with advertising agencies, sole proprietorships, direct mail companies, and as a freelancer—each experience adding depth and breadth to my skill set. These opportunities have taught me that good design isn't simply about making something look appealing. It's about understanding the person on the other side of the design: their needs, their expectations, their challenges, and what will ultimately motivate them to take action.

Driven by passion

That understanding is a major part of what drives me as a designer. I'm driven by the challenge of taking something that may exist only as an idea, a conversation, or a business goal and transforming it into something clear, engaging, and tangible. I enjoy solving problems creatively, asking the right questions, and finding the balance between aesthetics, strategy, technology, and the human experience. Every project is an opportunity to learn something new and to create something that has a purpose beyond simply looking good.

I believe the customer of the future will be more connected, more visually sophisticated, and more accustomed to personalized digital experiences than ever before. At the same time, people will continue to value authenticity, clarity, and human connection. As technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and new digital platforms continue to reshape how businesses communicate, I see an exciting opportunity for designers to bridge the gap between technology and people. My role is not simply to keep up with those changes, but to understand them, embrace the tools that make me more effective, and use them thoughtfully to create experiences that feel relevant and human.

I can help the customer of the future by bringing together more than two decades of design experience with a willingness to continually evolve. I understand where design has been, appreciate where it is today, and am genuinely excited about where it is going. Whether the challenge is building a brand, communicating a message, creating a digital experience, or finding a fresh way to connect with an audience, I bring curiosity, experience, creativity, and a commitment to finding the right visual solution.

I am deeply grateful for the career path I've chosen and the opportunities it has afforded me. More than 20 years later, I still feel the same excitement I felt when I first discovered what was possible behind a computer screen. The tools may have changed, but the motivation remains the same: to create, to solve problems, to keep learning, and to help people and businesses communicate more effectively through design.

Today, I'm excited to continue sharing my creative abilities with you—and to bring everything I've learned, along with everything I'm still learning, into the next generation of design.
